Why it's important to stop using the old product anyway.
Given the security problems that existed in the old
version which they had time to look at, I'm not sure
how much confidence it's reasonable to have in the
safety of using this emergency release.  In fact,
if not for the graph in Al's other post, I'd say only the
hardiest of fools would be sufficently foolhardy to be
among the first testers of this new version.  But apparently
there's no shortage of fools.  Learn something new every day.

In a related issue, slashdot reports that MusicCity is
apparently violating their licence from gnucleus by not
releasing the source for their client.  Seems to me that
releasing this would be a good idea anyway, as it would go a
long way toward assuring users that the client is ok.
