The Vic police figures are highly suss,they are dark masters of lying with statistics. 800 new cops started recently for example,they play certain crap corporate media like a violin.The Vic police did go on strike once though,in the 20's. Your anecdotal evidence was mirrored recently in Sydney,NSW,the guy got 10 years jail but I think it was an accident. Your guy might have pushed the wrong pedal,I saw that happen once,driver thought they were braking,then froze, Then there was the bloke who floored his SUV into a white power rally,that was cool.
