Launch of INSEAD/Wharton Entrepreneurs Network
(supported by 3i and Ariadne Capital)
On October 3, the UK INSEAD Alumni Association and the Wharton Club are
launching an Entrepreneurs Network that will bring together entrepreneurs,
investors and "knowledge alumni" (alumni unable currently to be full-time
entrepreneurs or major investors but with skills and experience who could
be of value to, and valued by, entrepreneurial businesses and investors).
Why should this be of special interest? The INSEAD/Wharton Entrepreneurs
network will provide a unique opportunity for these groups, backed by a
support infrastructure, to make entrepreneurial activity by the alumni of
INSEAD and Wharton more successful. This initiative is being supported by
people from all three groups as well as the entrepreneurial faculty of
INSEAD and Wharton. A growing list of companies have agreed to provide
sponsorship.
The October 3 launch event, kindly sponsored by 3i, will start at 1.30pm at
the offices of 3i at 91 Waterloo Road, London SE1 (full details are
provided below). If you have not booked already, please reply to this email
as there are only a few places left. If you are unable to attend but
are interested in participating in the network, please also respond to this
email and mark Tuesday, February 25, 2003 in your diary when the next major
event will be held.
I look forward to your participation in this initiative
