Sullivan Hit With 21 Count Indictment
Bryan Sullivan had to post a $100,000 bond this afternoon. He was hit with
a 21 count indictment related to Internet terrorism.
Sullivan: They [the feds] ran off a 21 count indictment against me. I
didn't pay attention to half of what he read- a lot of those legal words-
herewith, therein. Most of it had to do with wire Interstate over for phone
lines. I just got back from the U.S. Court House for the Western district
in Kansas City. I had to post $100,000. I took a loan against a 401K. I'll
get all that back when I'm cleared of all charges. The court date should
come up in about four months. It's a strange thing with me and the FBI
here. They're careful to not upset the work place. It's always we'll meet
you at home. I guess they don't want this to be another thing where they
accused that guy of Anthrax mailing. Now he can't get a job. I guess they
don't want me to be another him. But my job will know anyway if I have to
take the time to defend myself in court. I already have an attorney. I
asked them if they're going to have some of the people I mailed to,
testify. Or at least get some sworn affidavits. Are they going to do like a
video court from wherever the district is in California that initiated the
investigation? I guess that's how they're going to do it. My lawyer said
I'll beat this nine out of ten times. It's going to be interesting. It
should last about a week or two depending on how many porn whores they can
get to come or plan to call, whatever. I was wondering why I couldn't get a
copy of the charges- they wouldn't give me one. They read them to me and I
looked over them with my attorney present. Other than that, they wouldn't
give me a copy. I thought it was strange. I take it they're going to call
Dave Cummings, Jenna Jameson, some of those people....
