WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Bush administration has drafted a military aid
package for Turkey.
Turkish diplomatic sources said the administration has discussed a
package of both economic and military aid to Ankara. They said the value
of the U.S. offer is about $1 billion and that Congress is already
considering up to $800 million of aid to Ankara.
