Hitler claim man free

A MAN who vows to continue the work of an assassinated terrorist leader was
yesterday allowed to walk free from court.
Giving Michael O'Hara a six-month suspended jail sentence, County Court
Judge Michael Kelly told O'Hara he should seek psychiatric help.
But the judge wasn't prepared to order compulsory treatment of O'Hara's
delusional disorder.
Judge Kelly also told O'Hara it would help another case against him if he
surrendered two pistols. "I would be prepared to deal with it, even on
Christmas Eve," he said.
O'Hara has refused repeated police requests to hand over two guns he claims
were Adolf Hitler's.
He was last week found guilty of 18 counts of making false documents
relating to attempts to raise $5 million by selling the guns.
O'Hara is still facing one charge of taking firearms out of Victoria
without informing police.
Outside court, O'Hara refused to say whether he intended to hand in the two
Walther pistols, one of which he claims was used by Hitler to kill himself
in 1945.
He also refused to say whether he intended to carry on his work with the
militant Jewish Defence League.
O'Hara, using the name Zeev Gideon Korwan, claims on the JDL Australia
website to be its executive chairman and to be in charge of overseas
operations.
He also vows to continue the legacy of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane, whose
extremist Kach group is listed by the US State Department as a terrorist
organisation.
O'Hara's JDL Australia website was yesterday still accusing Victoria Police
of charging O'Hara to appease the Arab at the expense of the Jew. It
accuses police of supporting a Nazi-lover in the case against O'Hara, and
of being pushed into charging O'Hara by traditional Jewish leaders
concerned at how powerful the JDL in Australia was becoming.
"The JDLA cannot understand why the Jewish oligarchy in this country have
this mediaeval notion that when the Muslim becomes all powerful the Jew
will remain safe," O'Hara's JDL website says.
"The current Muslim breeding rate indicates that within the next 30 years
this religion will outnumber all other religious denominations here in
Australia without the Muslim having to raise a rifle in anger."
Judge Kelly yesterday said O'Hara had shown great ingenuity and persistence
over a number of years to create documents designed to back his claim the
guns he owns once belonged to Hitler.
He said the prosecution case was that O'Hara created the false documents to
help him profit by selling the Hitler guns, while the defence case was that
the documents were props for a film and the guns were to help O'Hara flush
out Nazi sympathisers.
The jury chose to believe the prosecution.
Judge Kelly yesterday said O'Hara's delusional state lessened the severity
of the offences.
He told O'Hara he would make his sentencing remarks available and
recommended O'Hara give them to a psychiatrist and seek treatment.

It is fact that many shoah survivors landed up here and some understandably
went mad,others went on to quite extraordinary achievements but that's
