In SA....PEACE activists were today urged to bombard talkback radio to protest against Australia's possible involvement in a war on Iraq.
An Adelaide rally and march against war was told it had to change popular opinion for military action against Iraq, as expressed in the media.
"What we've got to do, and I'm sorry about this, you are going to have to get on talkback radio," Medical Association for the Prevention of War founder Ian Maddocks said.
"You're going to have to join in that idiot harvest that is gathered together under commercial talkback radio.

The only flash of controversy in the Victorian campaign so far was born from implicitly ribald verse: on a badge promoting Janice Munt, Labor's candidate for the marginal seat of Mordialloc. The badge declared: "I donated to Janice Munt because the other guy is a ----". She later said the missing word was "runt".
