Whenever I need some test certs I use openssl to generate them. (Or an ingrian box, but not many people have one of those.) There's instructions in the openssl docs. For test purposes you don't need openca, its only needed if you want to issue a lot of certs automagically. > The development is for an open source PKCS #11 test suite.
