Iraq's Information Minister said Thursday reports U.S. air attacks were aimed at killing President Saddam Hussein was proof the U.S. were criminals.
Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf held a brief news conference after a speech by Mr. Hussein.
Asked about Pentagon reports the attack was aimed at killing Mr. Hussein, he said: "It's good proof that they are killers and criminals who still believe in assassination.
