Traffic was brought to a standstill in Downtown Pittsburgh today after protesters took to the streets against the war. An 3+hr snake march wove it's way through downtown and the southside. For awhile it was cat and mouse with the police trying unsucessfully to disperse people. Probably 150 police have been brought out and are everywhere.
Organizers from POG: Pittsburgh Organizing Group have been targeted by the police (with one pog'er arrested with cries from the police of "we got him, we got one of the organizers)

Police scanners revealed police being instructed to charge any "anarchists" arrested with inciting a riot. We have at least one person injured and one person charged with assulting an officer. A couple un-arrests were sucessful but most people were taken after people were split up.

Pepper spray has been used. Dogs and horses are on the scene but we don't know whether they've been used.

There has been heavy racial profiling going on with numerous people of color signled out for arrest.

Many protesters were trapped on the bridge leading from the Southside to Downtown.

Sorry this report was hectic. Too much to do.
