community! Amongst the many 'Survival Programs' to be initiated by RACUN
throughout the community, RACUN has etsablished a Community Defense Program.
RACUN is an anarchist community organization dedicated to radical community
empowerment and self defense.

The only way our communities can stop the continuous brutality, racism,
murder and repression by this system is to establish a revolutionary form
of self defense within the community. We must organize self-defense units
to protect our community and its revolutionary organizations from the

The difference between
"Terrorism" and Self-defense.
Terrorism is the act of terrorizing, or state of being terrorized; a mode
of government by terror or intimidation. Terrorism is to inflict violence
upon inocent civilians as disposable targets. This is by means of offensive
physiological or physical force. Terror is used in the formation of
compounds which are generally self-explaining: as, terror-fraught,
terror-giving, terror-smitten, terror-stricken, terror-struck, and the like.
When someone attacks you, your first reaction is to defend yourself. This
is a natural survival instinct. We see it in all living creatures. This is
called self-defense.
For example, when police have the authority to continuously brutilize and
murder those in your community, this is an act of terrorism. Therefor your
community naturally has a right to defend it's self. When authorities try
to stop your community from defending it's self, then you have even more of
a right to defend yourself.
