March 22-2003 - Strasbourg, France: the end of March 22nd demo against the war in IRAQ was marked by a violent repression of protesters wllling to block the entrance of a McDonald's restaurant in the downtown of Strasbourg. The police replied with help of CS tear gas , which canisters were thrown in the middle of an extremely dense crowd of passers by and demonstrators. Two persons have been apprehended so far in a very brutal way. In the recent history of Strasbourg this is the first time that police represses so harshly a demonstration.
