Turin: direct action against royal palace
Italian tricolour lowered, anarchist and rainbow flags raised!
Today, after a spontaneous demonstration against the war through the streets of central Turin, the Turun Anarchist Federation - FAI sector marched to Piazza Castello, to the former residence of Italy's ex-royal Savoy family, Palazzo Madama. Now, instead of warmongering Italy's tricolour flying from the balcony, there are red'n'black anarchist flags and rainbow flags. After half an hour, the special branch intervened and took indentity details of the comrades on the balcony who were shouting anti-militarist and also calling for a general strike against the war and for mass desertion. Riot cops meanwhile circled the anarchists on the ground who had remained to give support to the protestors on the balcony. After about an hour the comrades re-joined the other protestors in front of police headquarters.
Against all wars! Against all armies!
We are all deserters!
