According to dpa, Germanys major news agency, the number of GIs wounded in Iraq and later airlifted to US military hospitals in Germany is now at 94 according to local US army sources.
Yesterday a US army spokesman at Ramstein airbase confirmed that the airbase is used as a stopover for dead US soldiers, too. But he did not want to give exact numbers. They day before this information had been denied.
More injured GIs have been airlifted to the Rota airbase in Southern Spain where there is another US army hospital nearby.
You should take into account, that two days ago a Pentagon speaker confirmed a total of 19 (nineteen!) wounded GIs since the start of the war.
