Avoid the Website Trap!! Let's be honest here, web developers have become the new millennium's version of 80's estate agents. Only too quick to patch up a site, demanding high fees and, once the transaction is complete, never return your phone calls, slow to respond to problems. Maybe the plumber provides a better comparison - ask for a leaky tap to be mended - "(sharp intake of breath) Well that's not going to come cheap Missus" - ask a web developer for a shopping cart facility - "(sharp intake of breath) - well that's going to need to be database driven - lucky to see change out of ten grand!" Yep, it's a lucrative game being a web developer!
If that's been your experience, you might like to read on (if you are a provider of that type of experience, I'm not talking about you - honest!). How would your business benefit from an honest old fashioned business relationship with an up-front type of guy. The type of guy who proves himself to you before you commit a penny. The type of service that provides you with the tools that will enable you to update your site in the future, without any future hooked in payments. If you are in need of a website, but have been put off by exorbitant fees and flash suits, this could be the solution for you. If you regularly pay developers to make simple changes to your site, because you haven't got the in-house skills to do it, you could save huge amounts. I have, in the last 8 months, developed or updated over 80 sites - ranging from a simple 200, 5 page presence to a 2500, 2500 page on line booking site (if you've just paid 2500 for a simple showcase site, my sincere condolences). Most* of these sites are now fully in the hands of the clients, who can, without any great expertise, maintain their own site (*aside from a few who asked me to maintain their almost daily-changing sites) due to the bespoke software that I create for each site, that makes updating easy. I have no experience of unhappy clients, simply because I would not get paid if that were the case! With prices as low as 200 for simple, professional showcase sites, with no on-going fees (apart from your ISPs fees), and nothing to pay up front - not until you are happy with the work - this is a risk free opportunity for you! If you are interested in developing a cost effective web presence, or would like me to take a look at your site - maybe with only a few minor changes in mind - drop me a note in reply to this email. I'm regularly disheartened to make contact with potential clients to find out that they just paid 4 or 5 times what I would have charged and they are still not very happy with the end result - don't let that happen to you - drop me a note at the first instance and give it a try. It'll cost you nothing to find out. Kenny McMillan for Impact This is a once only email, using a temporary email address - you do not need to unsubscribe from any list.
