sync_client can't start from cyrus.conf, when I using ptloader. I write about this in info-cyrus@ list some time ago, but not get any hint. My configs and truss output accessable on http://lists.andrew.cmu.edu/pipermail/info-cyrus/2006-October/024121.html
I test cyrus imapd 2.3.8. It also have this issue. WBR. Dmitriy
