It's a "human interface" mistake to allow users to self-determine
whether they are novices or experts. It's better to organize around
the utility of options, e.g., "standard", "unusual" and "wacky".
I would also like to split out murder and sync specific settings,
and I would
probably want them in the Advanced section.
I think a murder section and a replication section would be great.
Authentication is a complex area that could use it's own section. In
fact, having all of the options organized first around functional
area and second around the likelihood that anyone would want to touch
them is appealing. Perhaps a section of standard options that every
site almost certainly has to review, and then functional areas.
