Cassandane: - ellie has the start of a murder test suite - would be very valuable to have tests with different versions within a murder, and also of upgrading - run older version, see what happens when starting up same directory with new version - Nicola is planning to write docs on upgrading, given recent threads about it online Sharing: - Ken is doing well with Notifications - worked out why Apple clients aren't seeing them. Assumes it's under calendar home set. - working through bugs and other weird behaviour Backups: - ellie has started sketching out a restore mechanism for backups Bron has been working mostly on FastMail support tickets, but also some work on the CalDAV sync code and Net::CalDAVTalk 3.0b2 - once sharing is done, let's release it - maybe April 1st Docs: - Nicola has been hacking around the index and structure so people are better able to find what they're after Upgrade sphinx: cyrusimap.org - bug Jeroen tomorrow afternoon. Updating Phabricator - severely breaks upgrade. OK to stay on current version for a while. Jeroen has a differential pending (D77) - seems to work perfectly fine. Looks good for 2.5 and 3.0. Also D84 - much discussion about how to handle replicas within a murder and mupdate. Raymond a Jean-F joined about 22 minutes in. - have made some enhancements including getting reconstruct working. - will integrate into master. On Raymond's github. OpenIO - have had questions about integrating Cyrus and Object storage - currently using the 2.5 solution release - interested in 3.0 release to benefit from object storage - bit afraid of beta tag - OpenIO interested in taking on more making object storage stable - best thing is to write tests and test with load - add support to Cassandane for Object storage support. - Nicola: is there much documentation for how to configure Object storage? - how to set up, philosophy. - Jeroen can do some as well, if he knows what to fiddle with.
