Well, I do not think that my preference for hg is related to it being written in Python. I would say that is more or less like the preference that I have for Python comparing to Perl ;-). Of course, the workflow of my projects is extremely simple, I'm basically the only one that make all the commits. Perhaps for larger projects, git is better...
