Hello, this is to inform you about the release 0.2 of Nuitka, my attempt of making a compiler that understands all of Python:
http://kayhayen24x7.homelinux.org/blog/2010/08/release-nuitka-0-2/ Most noteworthy is that is passes now the almost complete CPython test suite nearly unchanged, provides support for all language constructs, etc. It's still not useful, although usable. Don't use it because it's faster, that may be a wrong statement at this time. And I have decided that Nuitka will live it's life independent of Cython, i.e. this is the last announcement of a release here. I will still follow the mailing list and will share my insights with you, but only where it's about Cython. I believe some benchmarking fun is ahead with future releases, that's for sure. For those of you that are interested in Nuitka, there is now a dedicated mailing list available: http://www.freelists.org/list/nuitka-dev Best regards, Kay Hayen _______________________________________________ Cython-dev mailing list [email protected] http://codespeak.net/mailman/listinfo/cython-dev
