Reading chapter 11 of the NSF proposal, at least there was two Cython 
workshops planned when applying for funding, so it seems likely. Of 
course, we want to make sure there's some ties to scientific computation.

For this one, at least Pauli Virtanen, a very significant contributor to 
NumPy/SciPy, wants to come (assuming we have it in Munich). Me and him 
(and whoever else is interested) should be able to hash out the most 
important things regarding Cython+NumPy/SciPy. I think the "macro" 
ability (inline certain generators used in for-loop) is completely 
crucial here, and templates too. I don't worry too much with planning 
that part though; when me and Pauli (and whoever else is interested) 
gets together we'll figure it out.
