Fixes/improvements for tests
- Corrects test use of promises/events for model objects using a syncher
- Set a longer default timeout for tests for possibly slow envs (Travis)
- Adds Vagrantfile with same config as Travis for testing / reproducing
- `npm install` shouldn't build
