Lucca Z"L was also in the possession of Mr. Friedman's recipes.When you went to
visit Lucca who lived in Haifa she would sometimes bake for you the famous
Schmettentore. The recipe is also on this page.In one of my trips to Czernowitz
I took a photo of the place which it is in the Ruschisegasse I believe its just
across from the house where I was born.

response means that no one has an answer. Certainly, over the last 20 years,
the Friedman restaurant was discussed many times. It’s interesting that we
don’t have photos, but I don’t know why.
As to why you didn’t receive a copy of the post – I can only say that some mail
systems, including Yahoo (yours) refuse to accept some messages from our list,
especially those that originate from Yahoo addresses. This happens (sometimes)
with AOL emails, too. Gmail and many other email systems work flawlessly.
