Markus wrote to me: --- Dear Edgar Hauster, I would like to draw your attention to our current project: "Measuring the Ghettos: Grodno - Czernowitz - Chisinau". A digital platform in six languages has also been created for this purpose: https://ghettos.digital Over the past three months, young Ukrainian, Belarusian and Moldovan participants have dealt with the history of the ghettos in their places of origin and developed individual micro-projects on this subject - with very different focal points in terms of content and technical means: https://ghettos.digital/all-micro-projects Two projects from Czernowitz are available so far - on Selma Meerbaum-Eisinger [https://ghettos.digital/projectSelma] and, most recently, a video production about the ghetto in 1941 (14 min., Ukrainian with English subtitles). The production traces the course of the former ghetto, presents contemporary documents and also shows aerial shots by drone.
