Dear Bruce, dear all, Thank you very much for your kind words on the occasion of the award of the Federal Cross of Merit. This honour is also connected with the Czernowitz-List. The list was the trigger for 10 years of work camps at the Jewish cemetery in Czernowitz/Chernivtsi. The list also gave me the opportunity to meet wonderful people and it was my priviledge to travel with some of them in Ukraine and Moldova. Many of you shared your knowledge with me and actively supported me. Unfortunately, not all of those are with us any more but they are present in my heart.
I have been a member of the Czernowitz-List since 2006 and every day since then it has enriched my life. The list was the beginning of a 15-year journey and it is not over yet.
