Czernowitzers...

It is my privilege to share Lily Pauker's book "Once upon a Time in Suceava -
Bukovina" with all of you:

http://hauster.de/data/LilyPauker.pdf

But Lily's commitment does not end here. She writes: "I have lived in Israel
since 1963. I was born in Suceava. SUCEAVA Children group has accomplished some
projects to commemorate the memory of our community:

- we have cleaned the cemetery, and we pay to maintain it in a fair state.
- in October 2019 at the Suceava cemetery we have commemorated the deportation
of our parents
- 2021 we have published a book about life in Suceava 1940-1955

We intend to produce a documentary on this subject. Would you be so kind as to
share with us photos, or if you know about footage on Transnistria deportation,
camps, synagogues, orphanages or any other material you might know?"

If you can assist, please contact Lily directly (see Cc).
