Czernowitzers... Our friend and fellow member Jordan Mechner, best known as the creator of the video game Prince of Persia, released as live-action film adaptation by Disney in 2010, is an author, game designer, graphic novelist and screenwriter. Yesterday his latest graphic novel "REPLAY - Mémoires d'une famille" arrived in my mailbox and I can't wait to take a closer look over the weekend:

I admit that I envy Jordan a bit for his ability to not only handle language well, but to do it graphically as well; it's both attractive and fits perfectly into our times. Learn more about Jordan and his work and don't hesitate to check out his website: https://www.jordanmechner.com Czernowitz, the city of his grandfather Adolf Mechner, plays a central role in the novel, but at the same time it is for all of us "our" Czernowitz, because Jordan's family history - for all its uniqueness - also has an exemplary character. Congratulations and thank you, dear Jordan, first of all for having realized this book and, secondly, for having mentioned me - representing our whole Group - in the acknowledgement. My family from France (Paris, Marseille, Angoulême) will certainly be proud of me and, like me, read your graphic novel with greatest interest.
