Hello, so basically my girlfriend‘s grandmother Rina/Irina/Irushka is looking for birth certificates of her late parents. Her maiden is Gottlieb. She was born in Czernowicz in 1940. Her granny’s mother Fanni (born Rubinstein) and her father Sigmund Gottlieb were born at a time when Czernowicz was still part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire.
Fanni‘s father Leon Rubinstein, brother of Pinus „Ben Saar“ Rubinstein, was born in Boian in 1887, her mother Jeanette in 1886, possibly also there, but it could also be in Czernowicz, Novoselytsia or Radautz.
