Thanks for mentioning this, Emily.  I hadn't heard anything about these. Jewish
Gen had mentioned the same sort of information about a new record set from
Buenos Aires in IMAGES (also not indexed) with Ship's Lists; those records
provided great information, and were worth the time spent searching! I
appreciate you bringing this to the group's attention! I think many of us often
overlook searching Family Search 'images,' as opposed to 'records.'
Sincerely,Leah H. Snider

I apologize if someone has already mentioned this in this forum. But I just
noticed that as of December 2022, FamilySearch uploaded images of what they
call "Revision Lists, Chernivtsi, 1876-1918." They appear to me to be residence
lists from about 1901.
The records are not indexed and there are quite a few files. Browsing through
the first one listed, I noted several (likely) Jewish families (e.g., Max and
Yetti Scherer; Yetti Rosenblatt).
This URL may work for accessing the results of my initial search:
https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/beta/search-results?place=5299&recordTypeIds=123363
If not, the way I found these was to go to Search > Images > More Options
Then, I entered Chernivtsi and record type Census Records

Actually, looking at further files. The records cover quite few years.
