I am writing to all members of the Czernowitz Ehpes list and in particular to those who have joined more recently and are not fully aware of the Czernowitz Jewish cemetery restoration efforts undertaken by some of the list's members under the auspices of CJCRO.
After a year 2022 troubled by the Ukraine war and when most donations went primarily toward supporting the many needs created by the massive refugee problem, we are now contemplating a relatively more stable situation in Czernowitz. Since the beginning of May 2023, we have renewed the vegetation control work at the cemetery. We are now asking for your help with contributions to enable us to complete this summer’s work. We have posted on the CJCRO website a few photos and videos illustrating the work which is being performed.
