The historic old town and modern architecture coexist peacefully. In 2020, Lille was the world capital of design and is the city with the relatively highest proportion of students in the population - around forty percent, depending on how you count. Where better to see this than in the multicultural district of Wazemmes during the International Soup Festival LA LOUCHE D'OR [THE GOLDEN SOUP CELL] on International Workers' Day?
