Czernowitzers, I write to you today to inform you that my father, Bruce Wexler, died Saturday evening, June 21, 2025, in West Palm Beach, Florida. His mother, Edith Dorf Wexler, was born in Czernowitz in May of 1908. Similar to others on this list, he had a strong interest in genealogy and his roots in Czernowitz. In 2008 he, along with my step mother, my cousin and I visited Czernowitz, it was his only trip to Ukraine, but in many ways it was a trip he was planning for a lifetime. We talked about the trip often for the next dozen years or so. In 2020 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. On Wednesday we will take him to his final resting place. For those interested
