:) not quite. Installation issues, specific Debian software configuration, APT issues, upgrade issues, to name just a few. Debating systemd on debian-user is like a blunt pencil (pointless!) Asking specific questions about systemd configuration in Debian is spot on for debian-user. There is sometimes a fine line between whether a question should be on debian-user or an upstream support channel, e.g. a question about send-hook syntax in mutt belongs on the mutt-users list, whereas a question regarding character display *may* be a locales issue and therefore should be posted to debian-user. Of course, an absolute beginner wouldn't necessarily have the 'nouse' to troubleshoot whether the question belongs on mutt-users or debian-user. -- "If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." --- Malcolm X _______________________________________________ D-community-offtopic mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/d-community-offtopic
