Btw. it's wise not to overvalue good experiences when using a pseudo- resp. transition-hybrid-systemd.
E.g. run $ ls /var/log/dmesg on your Debian, if you're using systemd. Sure, you always can enable it, even for a "real" systemd system as I'm using, but the binary journal blob tends to have impact on other log messages, that by systemd are obsolet. You need systemd's journal and you will not be able to access it, if your install ever should break. Even if you should get access to the binary monster, it's hard to search for culprits that do cause issues. Instead of e.g. a grep you need to push a key and scroll through the messages. _______________________________________________ D-community-offtopic mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/d-community-offtopic
