Paul, yeah, usually some system tables need to be ignored to get useful results. Check the Oracle.isIgnoredTable method for an example. No such vendor class exists for DB2 yet, so it will just use the default SQL92 class. So you could create a Vendor class for DB2 based on SQL92 and only override isIgnoredTable, and wire it into ConnectedDb.ensureVendorInitialized().
