        Does this help? Assuming that you have the connection defined in  
a .cnxml file, you can do:

f = dabo.ui.getFile("cnxml")
conn = dabo.db.dConnection(f)
crs = conn.getDaboCursor()
crs.Table = "zipcodes"
crs.executeSQL()
dabo.ui.browse(crs.getDataSet())
