I understand, and now consider this as more than just idle chatter.
But there is some "wiggle-room" in the wording; the runtime works
just fine without connecting to MySQL, so we are only including
MySQLdb, which is not GPL.
I don't want to re-ignite this discussion. I'm convinced that there
is no clear answer, and that's the way that certain lawyers want it
to be. Let me leave it this way: if anyone from MySQL AB contacts us
about potential violations, then we remove anything to do with MySQL
from the runtime and any other distributed code. But until then, it
stays.
