Well, a simple look at a cdxml would have answered that question. Of
course it isn't, and it's kind of demeaning to suggest that it would be.
It's a file. Files have to be opened before they are used. That path
is stored in the Designer so that, say, if the file is modified, it
knows where to save the modified version. Nothing unusual there, I
hope. If references to related files, such as connections, pictures,
etc., need to be saved, they are saved as a relative path to the cdxml.
