        I think that's a reflection on the STC use of 'zoom' to describe  
font sizing. Their's is odd, though: if you zoom a 10-point font by  
3, it still tells you that it's a 10-point font. We actually change  
the font size to 13 points.

I'm clearly out my waters, but perhaps thinking of "digital" vs. "optical"
zoom as they are used in the digital camera lingo may help to clarify some
of this. 

If I'm totally off the mark, sorry, but I thought, better wrong than
sorry... :)
