        You should only have temp files that persist when something abends,  
since the cleanup routines can't run. But the next time you see the  
sort of 'can't delete' warning message, check to see if the file that  
it is reporting on is actually present in your temp directory. If so,  
there's a problem. If not, then there isn't, and the warning is  
superfluous.
