I just ran it on WinXP, and the path was:
<img src="file:///C:/projects/dabo/icons/dabo_lettering_250x100.png">
...which is correct for my machine. Copying that URL into Firefox
results in the image being displayed correctly.

Look in dHtmlBox.py, under the _setSource() method.
