It works right now. Try it.

If you want to get updates more frequently than the releases, then 
install subversion and write yourself a script like:

cd dabo-svn
svn up
sudo python setup.py install

The tools won't work on a wx-less system anyway, but you could run them 
from your dabo-svn directory otherwise.

import dabo
dabo.dApp().checkForUpdates()
