On UNIX the TABS are like menu tabs and the text is not vertical, the text is
horizontal.

Eyes go straight up and down, Much easier to use with long tab labels, than are
sometimes unavoidable.
Where I might only get 3 tab labels on a top tabbed page.
I can easily get 14+ tabs on a left tabbed page.
Does the Right Tab option work different on your platform?
I really do not wish to see this go away.
