OK, finally have time to catch my breath and respond.
I'm 100% behind adding new controls to make our environment
potentially richer. It was just the name of the control that was
problematic for me.
'Advanced' is a subjective term, and my concern is that it implies
'better'. That's the reason I did not want to perpetuate the wx use of
'AUI', because it was not an 'advanced' user interface; it was just a
different, non-standard one. Since its primary distinguishing feature
was the dockability of its components, I chose 'dock' as the name base
for these controls in Dabo.
Can you think of a similar distinguishing feature for this control?
IOW, why would someone ever use this instead of the platform-standard
paged control?
