I had seen that dPageFrameStyled was shut down before, otherwise this 
might have been one of my suggestions.

I use FlatNotebook in my application and the reason that I switched from 
the standard wx.NoteBook to it is "style", i.e. it looks better and I 
also like the navigation option (especially when one has many pages) and 
the option to disable a tab/page but still show it and have a clear 
indication that it is disabled.

Mainly the second, but it should be noted (not certainly in the name) if 
something is non-native as it might be important.  I.e. I recall that 
FlatNotebook did not make it into the demo as its notebook control as it 
looked odd on the Mac platform.
