Even database specific changes which wouldn't do any harm to Dabo were rejected in the past. Adding platform specific code to Dabo which when used would make Dabo apps incompatible for other platforms should be a absolute no no. Your MDI changes might be good enough for you but they would be very harmful to Dabo because they undermine one of the main goals of Dabo. That's the reason for my radical point of view.
