After making some ticket changes yesterday, and having my requests for comments getting sent as replies to the list instead of as comments in the trac system, I revamped the notification system for trac changes. Now, when a ticket is changed, interested parties (original submitter, etc.) are still notified in the old fashion, with a message from '[email protected]'. This address will bounce mail sent to it though (which is good). In addition, the "Trac Ticket Change Notification" will get periodically sent out summarizing tickets that have had recent activity. Currently, "recent" is "in the past 4 hours". This should gently force everyone to make ticket comments in the trac database instead of here on the list, where months can go by and comments forgotten. Make sense?
