Well, if you find the time, let me know...
I guess this is getting a little out-of-scope. The idea was to add
news more frequently, not just noise. We were pretty good about
posting our dot releases, but all the Web Update releases were
effectively "silent", so it looked like nothing was happening in
between dot releases.
If you want to do a mashup page like you're describing above, that
would be fine, but I wouldn't call it "News"; we can add a separate
"Activity" page for that.
