I just ran across this tool, and it's fantastic!

It's a command-line debugger, very much like pdb, but much more
powerful. I've been using it for the past few days, and won't go back
to plain old pdb again!
I've modified dabo's __init__.py to use pudb instead of pdb in its
trace() command, so if you're used to adding 'dabo.trace()' in your
code to debug, they will still work exactly the same, except that
you'll get the pudb debugger instead.
