That looks good. BTW, you can't widen the grid columns by even 1 more
pixel or you'll cause the horizontal scrollbar to appear. That extra space on
the right is necessary.

I'm sure it's a matter of the scrollbar appearing triggering a resize,
which shortens the grid, which causes the scroll bar to hide, triggering a
resize...
Those problems are easy enough to fix.
